        | Q: What is the best method to clean my carpet? A: There are several methods that can be used to clean carpet and some methods work better than others. Three of the most common methods would include steam cleaning (also known as hot water extraction), dry foam cleaning (bonnet cleaning), and dry powder cleaning. The most important thing about cleaning carpet is that the person performing the task is trained and educated in what they are doing. Having served customers since 1990 we find that most clients prefer the restorative carpet cleaning results attained through hot water extraction.

        | Q: How often should I have my carpet cleaned? A: There are factors which affect the frequency of cleaning such as pets
or smoking within the structure, as well as the overall amount of
traffic in the home or business. Carpet manufacturers are now
requiring proof of professional cleaning for residential carpet every
18 months, and in some cases every 2 years, for warranty
     performance.
Check your specific warranty for details regarding your carpet.

        | Q: I have heard that having my carpet cleaned will make it get dirty faster. Is that true? A: No. Absolutely not. Not unless the cleaning work that was performed
on your carpet left a detergent residue behind causing the carpet to
re-soil again. When carpet is cleaned properly there should be very
little to no detergent residue left behind. One of the reasons that hot
water extraction is so effective is because it leaves little to no detergent residue
     behind…. just clean carpet.

        | Q: I had my carpet steam cleaned and it was wet for more than a day. Why is it this can happen with steam cleaning? A: The answer is it shouldn’t happen. There would only be 2 reasons
that it could… improperly performing equipment or poorly trained
technicians, or a combination of the two. Normally carpet that is
steam cleaned, by Complete Steam Services, will dry in a very short
time… usually within a couple hours. The application of a carpet protector, such
as DuPont Teflon or Scotchguard, after professional cleaning could extend the
drying time by a couple hours because it is an overspray applied after cleaning has
     been completed.

        | Q: I’ve seen coupons and specials for carpet cleaning for as little as $9.95 a room, or
even $19.95 a room. Is that a good price for carpet cleaning? Will they really get
my carpet clean for that price? A: What many of these companies tend to do with a low price deal is to try to
“up-sell” the customer with other add-ons that will be “required” to get your carpet
clean. Like just about anything we buy or service we use, you get what you
pay for. If you want cheap that’s what you’ll get… cheap, cut corner service and
poor quality cleaning. That is NOT what Complete Steam Services does. We
offer a high quality cleaning service at a good value.
